Just off the High Street on Parchment Street, Kyoto Kitchen adds to the lovely variety of eateries in Winchester.
Emma and I popped in here to take advantage of their business lunch offer – 3 courses for £19.95.
There was a generous amount of food and we left with full tummies. The menu offers the usual suspects in Japanese food and the business lunch does give access to a good range of these.
We had a variety of starter courses. Chicken skewers were moist and nicely charred. The tempura dish contained a prawn each and a selection of vegetables.
The chicken karaage was suitably made with chicken thigh with nicely seasoned batter. The sashimi was nice and fresh.
For main course, there was a crunchy pork katsu cutlet and a plate of udon with mixed vegetables and beef.
Kyoto Kitchen’s business lunch is good value for money.
