Having just moved to the wide, green spaces of east Hampshire, Emma and I have been exploring our new local area. One of our favourite towns is Petersfield, which is big enough for a wander but still retains its small town charm.
We were looking for a spot for a spot of lunch and The Townhouse caught our eye. It had a relaxed ambiance and the staff were very friendly and hospitable.
We found out that the restaurant has newly re-opened after a refurbishment and the reasonably-priced lunch menu was exactly the thing we were looking for.
Emma went for the homemade burger, which was juicy and meaty. She was also very impressed with the coleslaw.
My half rack of ribs was succulent and barbecue sauce had good flavour as opposed to just being sickly sweet.
Now we’re living in the area, we’ll be back to try more of their dishes.
